No Time to Play

I didn't have much time to stamp tonight. Regardless of how cold it is, one cannot stay housebound forever. I did get to play a little bit with my friend Connie's Nestabilities, and I'll have to say I'm impressed. I was a little bit nervous about trying them, having read a horror story or two about Cuttlebug plates snapping in two during the process. However, the instructions on the Papertrey Ink website were easy to follow, and it worked like a charm. I do think to get the full effect of the embossing I need some heavier cardstock in neutral colors. My card is so much prettier in person than it appears in the photograph, and yes, it's simple. The colors are Vineyard Berry, Chocolate, and New England Ivy. The stamps again are the Out on a Limb set by Papertrey Ink. My images are stamped on a piece of cardstock from the retired Neutrals collection. I cut and embossed the largest rectangle in the Small Classic Rectangles Nestabilities set. With that, I'm going to cut it short tonight and skidaddle to bed. More tomorrow . . .

Simple, but beautiful. Your style keeps me coming back for more! Tell us more about Nestabilities.

Lovely!

I love the idea of these but the price puts me off, unfortunately! I'd want them all and there's no way I can justify THAT! LOL

So, I think I will have to keep admiring from afar and trying to achieve a similar look in other ways.

I love the card and your style!
