Hot Stuff

This card is for Allison's Suggestive Sunday Challenge on the "still my favorite" Stampin' When I Can Blog. The topic: " . . . this week is all about the girls! So pull out your Bellas, Hannas, Rubber Romance, Elzybells...basically any stamp you got that is a girl (for baby, child or old broads like us!)."

My Elzybells are either Christmas stamps or winter stamps, which I refuse to acknowledge even though the ground is covered with snow and it's cold. I have no Bellas, Hannas, or Rubber Romance. Sniff . . . Determined, I think found a girl. Those skinny arms are a dead give-a-way. Right? Oh, yeah. The name of the series is "Who's that Girl?" I know these stamps aren't every one's cup of tea, but I like 'em.

However, I was between a rock and a hard place with my coloring technique tonight. The blending pen didn't give me quite enough color and markers too much. One of these days, I'm going to have to sharpen my Prismacolor colored pencils. I think I've maybe sharpened 15 of the 132-piece set. Does that tell me something? I've had them since July! Before I start picking on myself again though, I'm going to list my materials and tools, and call it a night.
Materials and Tools: Colonial White and Indian Corn Blue cardstock; Free Spirit paper packet; My Favorite Things Hot Stuff stamp set; Cocoa, Indian Corn Blue, Autumn Terracotta, and Honey ink pads; Tombow #850 Flesh marker; Antiqued Copper brads; Antiqued copper photo clips.

One more thing . . . Thanks for stopping by. I'll be back tomorrow evening after I clean up Kathi's Corner. The coloring thing was not my only frustration this evening.

Cracking up because that was the stamp set that I put in my cart at MTF and then asked you about the flesh marker! Ahh -- subconsciously, I inspired you! :)

BTW, a great card -- as always.
