Inkspired

If you see this card and say, "This doesn't look like Kathi," you're right. My problem is I don't know who it does look like. This card is the result of clicking on a link on a blog, which took me to the Splitcoast Stampers gallery. I then clicked on slideshow and got a brief glimpse of what I believe to be a card similar to this one. I know that the stamps aren't the same, but the colors, sketch, and details are what appears in the "mental picture" I took. In the four seconds between slides, I didn't catch the stamper's identity if it even appeared. As for who's blog I was on when I clicked the link, it would take a month of Sundays to find it. Thus, if anyone knows who made a card that may or may not look something like this, please speak up. It's fun to try something out of the norm once in a while, and I really like botanical-type stamps. I just don't have very many. Cute is fun, but not all the time.

If you can call stamping and paper crafting productive, I had a productive weekend. There might have been some dust bunnies I could have chased around, but they'll be there tomorrow. So will my stamps. We'll see who wins. Wagers, anyone? Actually, my sweet, self-employed husband with time on his hands takes care of most of the domestic stuff so the queen can play when she comes home from work. It will be that way until the golf season starts . . .

For tonight, I'm heading to the bathtub and then bed. All this fun wore me out. Thanks for stopping, and have a good week. If you're in the blogging neighborhood tomorrow, stop by and check out my countdown card. It was inkspired, too, and I even know who to credit!

This is very pretty and unique. Good for you!

And lucky you about the hubby doing the domestic stuff. Actually I take that back, my hubs did the laundry this weekend. Woohooo! :o) I guess I'll keep him.

The card looks great!

I really really really need to get me some botanical stamps. I need to look in the CTMH idea book and find one for me to get. I always get "flowers" ... but none of these branches-type stamps. Hmm ... maybe I *need* those (like I *needed* the Janome Sew Mini which is still sitting in its box by the front door. After it arrived, I realized I have no thread. Huh?)

Really, what I need to do is clean off a craft table and find space to work and to create. Funny how a huge table has less than a 12x12 free work space. Where *did* all that stuff come from?
