Now I know why they recommend that you photograph your card at at angle. Mistakes are less obvious. If you read the little Humility Square story that I told last weekend, you'll catch on to the title of this post.
This card has humility written all over it in that the paper piercing didn't work out just right in the corners . . . as in all four corners. If that wasn't enough, the Crystal Stickles that I kind of glopped on the flowers to take the focus away from the paper piercing changed the color of my Hollyhock ink. It's kind of orangish, not quite to the point of clashing with the cardstock. I think the look of paper-piercing is so cool, but I need to practice. For this card, I probably should have pierced my rectangle first and cut my cardstock to fit. Next time. As for Hollyhock ink and Stickles, I'm going to go try heat setting the ink first. If that doesn't work, I just won't combine the two again. In case someone is wondering, too, I paper-pierced a card front and adhered it to a base. While I love the look of the holes on the outside of the card, they're not so great to look at on the inside . . . kind of like the back of a brad. In closing, I'll just say that the concept was great and the implementation so-so - a learning experience.

... and might I add that I love that you do the troubleshooting and then tell us the "Better" way to do things.
Still Pretty!! Love the paper piercing. Adds a nice touch.
I am sure YOU are the only one who sees any imperfections...to me it looks terrific!
