. . . but every once in a while, I come up with an original idea. The rather pronounced ears on this rabbit inspired my words, which were computer generated using the cute Noodge font that is included on CTMH's Expressives CD.
Every now and again, I'm given a print ad or catalog cover at work and told to come up with a tag line. It seems, at times, they think I'm a miracle worker and should be able to come up with something on cue. Sometimes it works that way. Other times, I'll spend the better part of a day staring at an image and racking my brain for the right words to go with it. Those are the times I realize I should be working for Hallmark. Cute, funny, sweet, and sarcastic words frequently pop into my head, none of which are appropriate for the electronics industry, I'm afraid.
As you can see, the originality stopped with my words. The card design is simple. I did color my bunny for this card, which is something I don't usually do. Normally, I leave rabbits white to match the "Will it ever go away?" snow in Minnesota. I paper-pieced the lining of his years, too, with scraps of retired CTMH Background and Texture paper. Everything else explains itself.
Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Heavenly Blue, Baby Pink, and Black cardstock; Black and Grey Flannel stamp pads; Retired CTMH Background and Texture paper; My Favorite Things Eggs-tra Special stamp set; Dove blending pen; My Legacy Writer; Ribbon from Wal-Mart; Mini Glue Dots; Computer w/CTMH Noodge font.
