A Quick Post

I've only time for a quick post with my club members due in a few minutes. I made this card this afternoon, which didn't end up being as leisurely as I thought it would be. It was pleasant, however, and that's what counts.

This is a buckle card that I saw somewhere and made from memory (i.e. Hit or Miss). I'm sure there's a tutorial out there somewhere. I'll check it out and post the link if I find one. Nothing out of the ordinary with the exception that I stamped by large flower on the back of my patterned paper and then cut it out so that I'd have a patterned flower. I probably should have done something with the pink background. I did speckle the white inside piece to jazz it up a little. Anyway, it was kind of fun, and in addition to every day, the card would work for Easter or a baby girl card.

Materials & Tools: Baby Pink, Heavenly Blue, and White Daisy, Heavenly Blue, Sunkiss Yellow, Lilac Mist, and Key Lime cardstock; Sweet Pea paper packet; Key Lime, Baby Pink, Sunny Yellow, Heavenly Blue, and Lilac Mist ink pads; Angel Whispers stamp set; Retired Speckled Background stamp; Corner rounder, 1-11/16th and 1-1/4 inch circle punches; Stampin' Up Word Window punch; Baby Pink Bigger Brads.

That's it, I think. Gotta go . . .
