Every once in a while, I challenge myself to make a card with stuff that's mostly already out on my desktop. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. It depends on what I have to chose from with regard to materials, which is another way of saying it depends on how messy my desk is. As for this card, I'm thinking that this stamp set is a little too whimsical for this paper. It's OK. The sentiment was intentional . . . me kind of sending a message to myself. For anyone who isn't familiar with this stamp set, the inside of the card says, "Kneel."
Materials & Tools: Colonial White, Black and Hollyhock cardstock; Silhouettes Creative Basics paper packet; Black, Hollyhock, and Olive ink pads; Garden Green marker; Thoughts of You and Follow Your Dreams stamp sets; Hollyhock My Accents.
The rest of the story is that the stress test my husband had today didn't go so well, and while he has to go back to the clinic tomorrow, it won't be for the surgical procedure he had scheduled. We're both kind of shocked . . . nervous . . . the worst being that we don't know what's going on. It's hard for me to think that the best heart I've ever known might have something wrong with it. We'll both be better tomorrow after we find out what's what and how we're going to deal with it. For tonight, I'm going to get some rest. Marv's already asleep. Thanks for stopping. I'll be back tomorrow with a card or two and a little commentary, I'm sure.

Hope all goes well for hubby. I love all of your cards, Thoughts of You is one of my favorite new sets and you have made some great cards with it.
First of all, I will lift you and Marv up in prayer today. I hope you get some answers today.
Secondly, that card is perfect the way it is. Maybe you need a little whimsy to go with the papers - just to add a little spark and smile to an otherwise dreary day.
Hugs to you Kathi.
I wanted to let you know that your card is perfect as is and the sentiment good to remember!
I'm sorry to hear that the news wasn't what you expected. I've been thinking about you both and hoping you get some answers so that you can move forward in a positive direction. I'm sure the not knowing is worse than anything else.
Huge hugs going out to you!!!
What a beautiful card. And I'll be praying for your hubby & you.
