I hope my lead-in for "Wild Wednesday" didn't cause anyone to expect anything too spectacular. If so, I apologize. You'll have to settle for kinda cute instead. Instead of the wild color combination that I had planned, I grabbed the only set of stamps I own that have the word "wild" in its name. The fact that I used it to make a card for a child was OK, because my stash of cards for children and men is running low. The sketch is a favorite that I use quite frequently. This is a good example of using a partial image, as the tiger was the only animal that actually fit on the 1-11/16th inch squares that they are stamped on.Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Orange, Clover Meadow, and Green cardstock; Black, Grey Wool, Goldrush, Topiary, and Breeze ink pads; My Legacy Writer; In the Wild and Happy Birthday stamp sets; 1 and 1-1/4 inch circle punches; Orange and green grosgrain ribbon from Wal-Mart, 3M foam mounting tape.
My second card is another with a
computer generated sentiment. There's something about that little monkey that I adore. The border was created using a reverse stencil. In other words, using repositionable double-sided tape, I attached a 3-1/4 by 4-1/2 piece of copy paper to my card front and stamped around it, creating a 1/2-inch border. Quick and easy.Materials & Tools: Retired CTMH Naturals and Topiary cardstock; Brown Bag, Citrus Leaf, and Topiary ink pads; My Legacy writer; In the Wild and Nature Walk stamp sets; Dove blending pen.
On the home front, my husband saw his doctor again today, and we have an appointment to see a cardiologist in Grand Forks, N. Dak. on Monday morning. A week from now, we should have a better idea of where this journey is going to take us. That's a good thing, although one can't help but feel a little bit apprehensive. Again, thank you to everyone who has said a prayer or thought of us.
For tonight, I'm going to get some rest with the promise of a card or stamped "something" tomorrow. Until then, thanks for stopping. Make tomorrow a good day. That's my plan.

Very cute! I love this stamp set, but for some reason I rarely use it. Might have to dust it off because I need to make some kids cards myself :)
