Why Minnesotans Stamp . . .
Will ya look at this? It's enough to make me want to go back to bed and pull the covers up over my head. For crying out loud!! It's May . . . as in springtime. This a perfect example of why Minnesota folks have indoor hobbies. It can snow in September. It can obviously snow in May, and yet, we live here. This tops the 1.01 percent "cost of living raise" I received this week. No, that is not a typo. It seems that the company's health care costs are skyrocketing. Well, yes. Apparently, however, no one has noticed the prices at the gas pumps or is aware that the cost of 16 grocery staples has increased by eight percent since the fourth quarter of last year. Had the weather been nice, I probably wouldn't have ranted about the "raise." Weather is directly related to one's outlook on life. With that, I'll drag my out-of-sorts butt over to my corner and think about what I'm going to do with all the extra cash . . . Later!!

Gee whiz. Snow in May? I guess I would be stamping and scrapbooking too. When we lived in Kansas City, I was most productive in the winter! I'm not so much the snow-lover!
A 1.01% raise. Wow. You can buy a couple extra gallons of gas now. (That was suppose to make you smile!)
Here in northern Michigan we've seen a few May's when we got snow and lots of it. Attended a stamping class today. We watercolored the images that were flowers by Penny Black then we put another water color on top that made them all shiny. Gotta go help Jim in the shower. He still has his thumb wrapped so I need to wash one arm and one leg. Tomorrow night the wrap comes off. Yeah!
LOL it has been a wild Minnesotan Spring hasn't it Kathi... Hope your having a wonderful Mother's day and outside in this beautiful sunshine!!
Kathi,
I am so with you! No more snow! It's snowing today, has been all day. I am tired of the snow. I am in Wyoming by the way so I would guess you'll be seeing some more stinking white stuff in the next few days. Yuck!
I am from Minnesota so I know what it is like. When I moved you would have thought I would have moved somewhere warm but no I moved to Janesville, WI, and we had the worst winter I have seen in a long time. I have not seen snow like that since I was a little kid.
Kathi, where did you get the banner for the front page of your blog. I absolutely love it and I will like to spruce my blog up a little bit like that. Thanks.
Great artwork by the way!!!!
