When I saw this little set from Impression Obsession, I decided it was time to bring some cupcake stamps into my corner. The $8 price tag was certainly appealling, particularly when I thought they were so darned cute. As far as my card is concerned, it's not bad - all things considered. I mentioned in an earlier post that I wondered if one could layer one's paper before embossing it with the Cuttlebug. It works, although I don't think it added anything to enhance this particular card. What this card needs is some patterned paper somewhere.
Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Heavenly Blue, Baby Pink, and Amethyst cardstock; Black ink pad; Heavenly Blue, Baby Pink, Amethyst, Garden Green, Holiday Red, Topiary, Grey Flannel, and Bubblegum markers; White satin ribbon from Walmart; Acrylic discs from Michael's; Cuttlebug w/Swiss Dots embossing folder.
I'm still pretty much down for the count. I went to work this morning at 10 and left at 11, realizing very quickly that I wasn't going to accomplish anything more there than sharing my germs. My temperature is steady at 101.7, and I'm sitting here wrapped up in a blanket. I sleep for a couple of hours and then get up for about a half hour. I sleep pretty much upright. Otherwise, I cough until I choke. Poor me . . . It sounds silly and is all an incredible waste of time. Nevertheless, it's time for another nap . . . Thanks for stopping, and take care.

Oh Kathi,

Loving those discs from Michaels, to bad my Michaels doesn't have anything like that!!!
Glad to see you could at least make a card. Sometimes that helps with getting better. Great card.
