Although the sketch may be familiar, this one involved a little more stamping. Additionally, while I think I've said it before, I love this stamp set.
Materials & Tools: White Daisy and Topiary cardstock; Dutch Blue textured cardstock; Holiday Red, Topiary, and Sunflower ink pads; Happiness stamp set; Retired CTMH Speckled Background stamp; Cranberry gingham ribbon; Corner rounder; 3M foam mounting tape.
I'm thinking I should change the name of my blog to "The Queen's Corner." Picture this. I'm sitting here, fooling around reorganizing the labels on this blog, and suddenly, a hunger pang strikes. Marv is sitting in his recliner just outside the door of my den watching television. Without thinking, I ask, "So, what am I supposed to eat?" Well, it wasn't five minutes, and I have a wonderful sandwich and some chips on a plate in front of me, and he's asking me if I'd like a glass of milk. Had he asked me the same question in the same tone of voice, I can only say that he would not have received the same response. It would have been more like, "Go find something." While I hesitate from saying I have this man "trained" per se, he's pretty darned good to me. How life changes. This is the same guy, who 28 years ago, asked me what we were having for dinner within five minutes of our walking through the door with a new baby. I clearly recall my sharp retort. "I don't know," I said, "but whatever it is, I am not cooking it." Our pizza was delivered within 45 minutes. Back to the present, as he's gone outside, I guess I will have to get up and refill my own coffee cup . . . Catch ya later!
