Answering a Couple of Questions . . .

Ask any blogger, and she (or he) will tell you that comments are appreciated. Whether we want to admit it or not, they are kind of like the fuel that keeps our fires burning. Questions are always welcome, too. I'm a writer who is much better at jabber than directions. I've been stamping for a long time, too - long enough to take what I know (and it ain't everything!) for granted. Thus, ask away!

In my "A Quick Card" post I was asked if I covered the backs of my brads or let them show on the inside of the card. The answer is that nearly every card I make, embellished or not, is made on a card front, which, when done, is adhered to a card base. Almost 100 percent of the time, my card base is either white or Colonial White, depending on what goes best with the card front. Occasionally, I will run ribbon through a card base, but brads and the like never show on the inside of my cards.

In my "More Blossoms & Butterflies" post, I was asked how I embossed with the Cuttlebug around the embossed rectangle. A great tutorial can be found here on the Stamp Act blog. I was glad to find this tutorial, and my sympathy card was my first attempt at using this technique. Now that I have the hang of it, I'm sure I'll be doing it again.

I hope this helps. I reiterate that I appreciate your comments and want you to feel free to ask me anything. If I don't know the answer, I'll try my best to find it.
