Finally . . .

I'm back with a card. What a strange week it's been.

This card was made with CTMH's Beautiful Things set along with some scraps from my Rustic Trails paper packet. I colored on the tree stamp with markers and spritzed it with a fine mist sprayer. The tree trunk and rock were filled in with ink from an ink pad and my blending pen. The tree is actually crooked on this particular stamp but I was able to straighten it up for this card - the beauty of acrylic stamps. This will be a great stamp set for masculine cards. I've seen some awesome stuff done with it, too, on the CTMH artwork board.

Materials & Tools: Colonial White, Autumn Terracotta, New England Ivy, and Cocoa cardstock; Rustic Trail paper packet; Cocoa and Grey Wool ink pads; Cocoa, New England Ivy, and Grey Wool markers; Beautiful Things stamp set; Autumn Terracotta Bigger Brads; and 1/2-inch circle punch.

I'm not really with the program this evening. I left work at 3 p.m. and wasn't feeling so great. I understand there's yet another bug going around that place. I'm still coughing a little bit from the last one . . . I suppose that's the hazard of working with a couple thousand people. Mathias is a little out of sorts tonight, too. He didn't eat much at suppertime and says he has a tummy ache. Hopefully, that doesn't materialize into an eruption of some type later. Like I said, this has been a weird week. My Internet problems seemed to have worked themselves out. The elevator repairmen were here for three days, and I can't help but think whatever it was they were doing interfered with my signal somehow. I've never had a problem before, and it seemed to last the duration of their stay. Who knows? All I care is that it works. Thanks the for the comments you've left the past couple of days. While the next few days are going to be busy, I plan on spending a little time in my corner, so it just might be worth your while to stop back! Later!!

Hopefully it's just the goofiness of the week catching up with you and nothing more serious.
