In the Pink

A card I received in the mail the other day from a Mary Kay friend inspired my card for this evening. You can see part of it in my photo. While I didn't match the pink colors, and I didn't have stamps that matched the printed flowers, I think I captured the fun with Verve's Petals & Stems set.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Baby Pink, and Bubble Gum cardstock; Doodlebug Design Black Eyelet paper; Black and Bubblegum ink pads; Verve Stamps Petals & Stems and CTMH Say it in Style stamp sets; White Bigger Brads; 1/2-inch circle punch.

Bjorn and Mathias are with us tonight. Grandpa is currently negotiating with them regarding bedtime. We're both waiting to hear Senator McCain's speech. Thus, I'm short on talk tonight. I'll be back tomorrow. In the meanwhile, take care, and have a wonderful Friday!

I LOVE this card!!! I love using black, but I never think about it using it when making cards! You are *very* talented!

HOw funny, not your card, but just before I read your post about the card I was thinking it looked just like something from Mary Kay!!!

It is so cute and I love the clean and straightforward look. It is very timeless and elegant!
