This post was not on my "Gotta Do" list but rather something I thought of while cleaning up my corner. While making my last card, I smudged Cranberry ink on my Sweet Leaf cardstock while trying to make improvements to the original flower. I removed it with bleach, using an inexpensive paint brush. While little tip does not work with every ink every time I manage to mess things up, it has saved more than a few of my cards from the trash bag. I like to use a paintbrush because it gives me better control with regard to how much bleach I use. I try to keep from soaking the paper if possible. In the photo, the circle represents a smudge (which was worse than the other) that the bleach removed. One thing you cannot do, is stamp over a spot that has been bleached, because the bleach that remains in the paper will eat that ink as well. I don't know if I've offered this tip before but thought it might be worthwhile mentioning again. Back to the dreaded
list. Later . . .
