Pretty Pink

Here's a simple card made with Verve's Grateful Elegance set. I so love the sweet little flowers that come with this set. For every card I've made so far with them, I've stamped them and cut them out, a chore a lot of people would find cumbersome. Me? I kind of like it. The flowers for this card were stamped with Blush ink on Baby Pink and White Daisy cardstock, cut out, and then inked, using a sponge dauber, with Blush ink. I like the dimension the sponging adds to the finished flower. Other than that, the construction of my card is self-explanatory.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Baby Pink, Blush, and Black cardstock; Blush and Black ink pads; Baby Pink marker; Verve Stamps Grateful Elegance stamp set; Stampin' Up Whisper White taffeta ribbon; Cuttlebug w/Swiss Dots embossing folder and Nestabilities Classic Ovals set; White Opal Liquid Pearls.

I'm posting late tonight, because I came home from bowling and got caught up in something else. Bowling was fun. Work was OK. It was a fine day. I hope yours was, too. I'll chat more tomorrow night.

Love the card. That swiss dots is an amazing embossing folder. I have yet to do anything with mine yet. And good for you to have the patience to cut. Cutting is one of the things I hate the most.

Another way we are so similar, Kathi! When I paper scrapped, I was sort of known for using letter stencils for my titles and cutting them out individually, then outlining them. I enjoyed it and loved the look! Kind of calming...

Anyway I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card! And be assured it will be cased sometime in the near future!

Hugs!
