Card Bandit

I was inspired by this card on the P[inks] blog. Off the subject, but isn't that a great name for a blog? Believe me, if I'd ever in a hundred years dreamt someone would actually look at this thing, I would have been a little more creative in naming it. Not that K[inks] would have been very impressive. Maybe K[inky], although that might drive traffic that I'm not looking for and heaven knows, someone looking for something k*nky would be disappointed to find themselves on a blog that features something as wholesome as handmade cards. LOL.

Back to business. I guess my card is different, but only because my memory isn't that good. I don't know if it's the Ponderosa Pine ink or the Colonial White cardstock, but the ink didn't dry as fast as it should have and I ended up using my little bleach trick to remove a smudge. I don't know if you can see it in the photo or not, but I added a little Liquid Applique and Prisma Glitter to the branches.

Materials & Tools: Colonial White, Ponderosa Pine, and Cranberry cardstock; Everlasting paper packet; Ponderosa Pine and Cranberry ink pads; Beautiful Things and Say it in Style stamp sets; Ponderosa Pine Bigger Brads; Liquid Applique; Glue pen; Prisma Glitter; Glue pen; Sanding block.

The sore throat I complained about last night didn't materialize, and while I think I may be coming down with a bit of a cold, I woke up feeling fine this morning. With a big project that I need to get done this week at work, feeling OK is important. After a couple of days on my own, I'm feeling a little lonesome, however. My hunter is welcome to come home at any time . . . for a day or two anyway. The plan is to go to bed early again tonight. I hope you had a good day and that you have a good one tomorrow, too. Take care, and thanks for stopping.

Well, this is lovely!

You crack me up with your commentary.

Here's my question for you...I noticed that P[inks] blog and clicked to see it...I thought one picture looked like Pammie from CTMH, but she has another blog, right? So I discovered the other blog is gone...Is P[inks] Pammie's new blog?

Love the trees and the little details you added to them!
