Key to My Heart

Are you ready for some exquisite paper and a drop-dead gorgeous E-size stamp set? Check it out here. You can buy it straight out or get it at a discount or even free with a qualifying purchase - all in commemoration of National Papercrafting Month.

As for my first card made with this fun set, it's pretty straightforward. I stamped the key and cut it out, added some ribbon, glued it on top of the stamped sentiment, added a few brads, and I was done. Card-making is easy when everything coordinates perfectly. Oh, and did I say I love these colors - all of the new CTMH colors that were introduced in the fall/winter catalog?

Materials & Tools: Colonial White and Sorbet cardstock; Key to My Heart paper and stamp kit; Crème Brulee, Tulip, and Juniper stamp pads; Sorbet Designer Ribbon Rounds; Sorbet mini brads from the Spring Blossom assortment.

Today 'twas a typical Monday with all its glory - people, who needed "stuff," coming at me from all directions, a difficult, priority project with a looming deadline, and writer's block to boot. It will be OK. It always is. Going back to the weekend, the holiday celebration with my family was wonderful. All six of my siblings and my beautiful mom were there along with almost all of the spouses, some of the grandchildren, and all of the great-grandchildren. There was lots of food, fun, and catching up.

Speaking of catching up, I've got laundry in the washer and dryer that I'd best go tend to before sneaking off to my corner for a little R&R before an early bedtime. That writer's block has gotta be gone tomorrow! LOL. I hope yours was a great day, the beginning of a wonderful week. Later . . .
