Between the Memory Keeper box and all of the cards I made yesterday, this old paper hoarder made a serious dent in her Amore paper packet. Good for me! I love this paper and can always buy some more!
This top card is my contribution to Mojo Monday Week 71. I can't wait to see what the new sketch is tomorrow, even though sketches seem to be a weekend thing for me. The embossed ribbon I used on this card is another Wal-Mart "find."
Materials & Tools: Colonial White and Chocolate cardstock; Amore Level 2 paper packet; Chocolate, Cocoa, and Tulip ink pads; Soul Mates stamp set; Sparkles; Ribbon from Wal-Mart; Sanding block; 3M foam mounting tape.
My last (but not least) card from yesterday's stamping marathon is my take on this week's Paper Craft Planet sketch. The butterfly was created with the Cuttlebug Butterfly die/embossing folders combo that "showed up" with my mail this week. I used JustRite stamps for the sentiment. Oh, and since the photo was taken, the sentiment has been straightened. It's funny how I never notice a card's flaws prior to photographing it. LOL.
Materials & Tools: Colonial White, Blush, and Chocolate cardstock; Amore Level 2 paper packet; Chocolate and Cocoa ink pads; JustRite stamps; Just Blooms paper flowers; Acrylic disc from Michael's; Sparkles; Cuttlebug w/Butterfly Combo and Nestabilities Classic Circles set; Sponge dauber; 3M foam mounting tape.
I'll have to say I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday, doing little besides stamping. Last night, husband took a look at what I've been up to, and asked, "Don't 'cha ever get sick of this?" I tried to explain what a sketch challenge is. That was pretty hopeless. So was asking him to pic up some adhesive for me when he went to Wal-Mart earlier in the evening. He called from the store. "I'm in the aisle where the tape is, and I don't see it." When I explained that he needed to go to the craft department, he said said he didn't know there was one. Obviously, he isn't very observant, because that's where he comes to fetch me up every time we're in the store together. Remarkably, after me telling him where to go (store directions, that is), he brought home the right thing. Gotta love him.
Today, I'm going to address the laundry and some housework, including the big mess I made yesterday. I'm hoping to squeeze in a little stamping time, too. My wish for you is a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by!

Oh my these are beautiful!
So, so pretty! Would you believe I don't own that cuttlebug butterfly set? I wasn't sure if I'd like the embossing, except for the dots one and i never got it...now look at you showing me how great it looks! And you call ME an enabler?? LOL I think we enable each other!
Oh and for quilling...I just bought solid color inexpensive/thin cardstock and cut it to 1/8th inch strips. CTMH won't work because of the white core...unless you want to ink the edges...HTH!
Oh so soft and pretty.
Kathi,
Both GREAT cards! I haven't opened my Amore pack yet - I'm afraid I won't be able to leave the craft room once I do!!!!
Just want to tell you - I have about 30 blogs bookmarked and check them every now and then . . . but yours, I check every single day. I love your posts and look forward to them so much!
Hugs,
