Most Simple Saturday cards are simpler than this one was or, I should say, ended up being. I stamped the 'happy' stamp on patterned paper and cut it out with a scissors and X-acto knife. What you can't see is that 'happy' was mounted to the card with foam mounting tape, which involved lots of little slivers of tape. I dressed up the butterfly punch with a seed bead body and wire antennae. With Liquid Glass holding the body piece in place, it's not going anywhere! The pierced butterfly trail isn't perfect, the hazard of doing something freehand! I ended up with lotsa layers.
Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Black, and Ocean cardstock; White Daisy textured cardstock; Basic Grey Urban Prairie 6x6-inch paper pad; Black ink pad; Wordsworth Happy Everything stamp set; Black wire; Black seed beads; Martha Stewart Butterfly punch; Piercing tool & mat; Liquid Glass; 3M foam mounting tape.
The sun is shining this morning, and even though it's only 6 degrees, it looks like a nice day! I'm in the mood to do some organizing. Stamping is so much more fun when you know where the heck your stuff is! With that, I'm going to spend the day alternating between work and play. I wish you a great day, too. I'll catch ya later ...

Happy card! Reminds me of the days when I paper scrapped and I would cut out all the letters in my title!
That butterfly and its trail are adorable.
Great job! Hope you got lots of organizing done today.
Ooohhh...I like this one too! It's a real eye-catcher. Nice job!
