No showers today, but no sunshine either. I don't care. At least, I'm not cooped up in a cubicle where I can't see the light of day.
Isn't this the cutest image? That's if you like chickens, of course. The UPS man brought a long-awaited order from Whipper Snapper Designs today. WSD's theme is "Rubber Stamp Images That Make Your Heart Smile." That pretty much sums it up.
The card is my contribution to Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #64. The sentiment is computer-generated.
Materials & Tools: Colonial White, Cocoa, and Olive cardstock; My Mind's Eye patterned paper; CTMH Emporium paper packet; Whipper Snapper Designs Springtime Rain Chick; Prismacolor colored pencils; Gamsol odorless mineral spirits; Blending stumps; Cuttlebug w/Nestabilities Classic Circles set; Piercing tool; 3M foam mounting tape.
So far, I've had a great day. I've gotten some stuff done but haven't really pushed myself. Just a fun, kinda lazy day. I think I needed that! I hope you are having a good day, too. Later ...

VERY cute card, Kathi! I smiled right away when I saw it. I like chickens and I like umbrellas, so imagine my delight at seeing a chicken with an umbrella! LOL! Very nice coloring too...and that's done with pencils?! Really pretty. I love the paper pieced umbrella and how it coordinates with the card. TFS!
This is adorable Kathi!!! Love your coloring - go team Prismacolors!!! And the paper pieced umbrella is too cute!!
Great paper piecing!!! I love the chicken, too! I'm still learning about the pencils and gamsol. This looks wonderful!
