A Hopeful Update

In my April 1 post, I shared a photo of the Peeps in a Jar that I made for a benefit and told you a bit of the tragic story behind the benefit. Like always, the comments left were kind and caring, and I can imagine that a prayer or two was offered on this young man's behalf. Just one week ago, things were still looking pretty bleak for him with those acquainted with his family feeling their pain. His doctors had given up and told his family that the vegetative state he was in was permanent. His parents and sister were told by the nurses tending him the little things they were seeing that were giving them small glimmers of hope were nothing more than reflex. Well, the situation has changed. The story is here, and I thought some of you might be interested. The neurologist who treated Jason told his family that he has never witnessed a miracle. I pray that this be his first.

Wow! That is amazing! I, too, hope he's witnessed his first miracle. Thanks for the update and link.
