When I posted last night, I thought I might be on the mend. Not so. I got about two hours of sleep last night due to a cough that has gotten progressively worse throughout the day. I sound like a dying seal. I managed to get my housework done but really need to do some shopping. I guess that will have to wait until first thing tomorrow morning.
The sole card that I eked out earlier was inspired (copied, actually) by this card on the Just Dandy blog. I'm all about bright colors these days, and that silly-looking owl makes me smile regardless of how crappy I feel.
Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Watermelon, and Cocoa cardstock; Basic Grey Sultry 6x6-inch paper pad; Cocoa ink pad; Honey marker; Wordsworth It's Your Day and Papertrey Ink Polka Dot Basic stamp sets; Old Olive grosgrain ribbon and clear button from Stampin' Up; Cocoa Waxy Flax.
Marv just went to the store and bought me a bottle of NyQuil Cough. I'm hoping it does the trick. I also hope you had a wonderful Friday and are looking forward to Easter weekend. As always, thanks for stopping by! With a little luck, I'll catch you tomorrow.

Cute card! I love the owl!
If the happy feel of this card could only transfer to your body and help you get rid of your cough, that would be fantastic! I'm SO sorry to hear you weren't feeling better yesterday. I hope the medicine did the trick and you were able to get a good night's sleep.
Will be thinking of you and sending you cyber hugs all day!
Hope you improve quickly!
I love the Owl and the paper behind him. The card is So cute.
