My card was inspired by nothing more than a hankering to use Kraft cardstock. Obviously, there's not much to say about it. I love these little flowers from the June Word Puzzle set. I stamped 'em, colored 'em, and added some button centers. After embossing a couple of lines with my Empressor tool and mat, I added a sentiment and was done. It was a 10-minute card that I like as much as many of the two-hour cards I make.
Materials & Tools: Stampin' Up Kraft cardstock; Topiary and Black ink pads; Topiary marker; Inkssentials white gel pen; CTMH June Word Puzzle and Hero Arts Anytime Messages stamp set; Buttons from my stash; Empressor tool and mat.
I'm anxious to find out what I'll be doing on Saturday when this posts. There's no plan per se outside of spending a couple of days with my brother and his family and then going to Marv's sister's house on Sunday to get his mom and bring her back home to Thief River Falls. I'm sure she'll have lots of stories for the trip home, as she's been traveling. She's a talker, and just her adventures in Las Vegas alone will probably suck up the six hours it will take to get home. LOL.
What are you up to today? Whatever it is, I hope it's something fun or at the very least, enjoyable! Thanks for stopping by. I'll catch you tomorrow!

Kathi, I love this card! I use those li'l flowers a lot and never thought to use them on Kraft cardstock. I feel another stamp lift coming on...
