Introducing ...

... Sherrod Studio opening July 1!

And, here's a little sneak peek at what we have to look forward to! Isn't this the sweetest little pair? Growing up on a farm, I didn't spend much time on the beach as a kid, but I did spend a lot of time a huge sandbox playing with my sisters. This set brings back memories of those carefree summer days.

In addition to this great focal point image, the set I'm featuring includes a shell border, sand pail, sand castle, and assortment of sentiments and more - lots of stamps to pique your creativity!

Over the course of the next few days, look for more sneak peeks on my blog as well as those of Sparkle, Mary, Kim, and the Sherrod Studio blog. Leave comments, too, as there are stamp sets being given away! The winners will be announced on July 1.

About my card, I colored my image with Prismacolor colored pencils and Gamsol odorless mineral spirits. If you love coloring like I do, you are going to love these stamps.

Enjoy the weekend, friends! Those clouds I mentioned yesterday brought the rain I was kind of dreading ... lots of it ... over five inches. It looks like it will be a good weekend to stamp! Later...

Hey Kathi - I haven't had a bunch of time to comment on each of your cards lately but wanted to let you know that I visit you each morning and evening. I am continually impressed with your craft(wo)manship and love the inspiration you give to all of us. THANK YOU for sharing this and tidbits of your life with your family.

Wow! Cute card and congrats on being on the design team. Hope you don't get any more rain. When we were coming across Nebraska and Iowa we could see lots of flooded fields. The corn was only about half as high as it should be.

Kathi as always I love your card creation, but this is super cute as we live on the coast and yeah lots of kid pictures too. Can't wait to see more. Thanks!!

Okay...wait...what??? You are on a design team? I kept re-reading your post and you never did come out and say so, but by the wording you did use...it sure sounds like it! WOW!
CONGRATULATIONS! That is fantastic! I'm SO thrilled for you!

The image is so fun and your coloring is perfect. Great job!

I'm sorry to hear you got such a dumping of rain. Our ground is so saturated, when I pulled up the slip n slide today, it was muddy underneath and kind of swampy. ewwww....

I'm still grinning from ear to ear over your "news." Even though you didn't come right out and say so. *Ü*

Adorable card - love how you colored in the image. We were just at the beach yesterday (a lake beach anyway) when it was hot and muggy. It was hard to pull the kiddos out of the water! LOL
