While rummaging through my stuff last night (he likes to do that, and I let him), Mathias came across one of the first (if not the first) booking sets from Close To My Heart. He was quite taken with the frog stamp, so I had him stamp the frog and dragonfly, and I filled in the grass. Tonight, when I saw our handiwork laying on my desk, I decided to surprise him with a finished card. Either he'll love it, or he'll be put out that I didn't wait for him to finish the job. If there's one thing to be said about four-year-olds, it's the fact that they are not predictable. That's part of what makes him so much fun ... most of the time. How was your day? Mine was busy and productive - good. Due to the possibility of inclement weather, the cookout that was supposed to take place tonight was postponed until July 7. I did get my hair cut and am thrilled to be a short-haired Granny again. Maybe now that I no longer look like a wild woman, I can replace the photo that was taken standing in front of a snowdrift!
Tonight, I'm off to hit some balls on the driving range with my husband. I used to golf a lot but gave it up when I reentered the workforce. I predict that I'm stiff tomorrow.
