A Masculine Card

Good afternoon! Guess who's playing hooky? Not really. I took vacation time for some afternoon activities with my grandsons.

Here's a card I made the other evening based on the June 6 Time to Create Sketch on Lauren's My Time. My Creations. My Stampendence. blog. It's made with paper I love - Close To My Hearts Naturals cardstock and the Rustic Trails paper packet. Both are retired. As for the Naturals cardstock, my stash is nearly depleted, which means I'll be looking for a comparable replacement.

Materials & Tools: CTMH Naturals (retired) and Autumn Terracotta cardstock; Rustic Trails paper packet (retired); Olive ink pad; Chocolate and Olive markers; Verve Stamps Abundance and Papertrey Ink Mixed Messages stamp sets; Chocolate Bigger Brads; Cocoa Designer Ribbon Rounds (retired); Jute; Sanding block; 3M foam mounting tape.

For now, I'm off to get the boys dressed for our afternoon adventure. Most likely, I'll be back later to tell you about it. I might even have a photo or two. Enjoy your afternoon! Later ...

There are never enough masculine cards out there. I love it. I finished my card and then the camera battery was too low. So will charge the battery. Maybe tomorrow. LOL

Lovely, soft card. Not TOO masculine, in other words, not ugly! Very nice card!

So lovely! I have a Rustic Trail Level II I have never opened if you need more. Ordered it by mistake. It's really cool paper, for sure!

Kathi, this is an absolutely perfect masculine card! I adore what you have done. I can never make Rustic Trail look that good. Love the twine around the ribbon, too. Wonderful touch.

Can't wait to hear all about your adventures with the boys!

Have a fabulous Friday!

Is it wrong that even though this is supposed to be a masculine card that I think it's gorgeous. Well done Kathi.

great card. I feel so out of the loop having taken a few days off. Will have to check out all your artwork instead of by post.
