Another Fun Sketch...

Here's my take on the Mojo Monday Week 106 sketch. My image was colored with markers and shaded with a blending pen and ink from my Twilight pad. The poppy colors up very nicely if one outlines it with Holiday Red and then fills in the center with Orange. For whatever reason, the two colors blend, making for a very pretty outcome.

Materials & Tools: Colonial White and Chocolate cardstock; DCWV Indian Summer Fall Matstack; Black, Chocolate, Bamboo, and Twilight ink pads; Holiday Red, Orange, and Garden Green markers; Whipper Snapper Designs Blossoms & Butterflies and Papertrey Ink stamp sets; Stampin' Up Old Olive grosgrain ribbon; Corner rounder; Fiskars Apron Lace edger punch; Dove blending pen; Sponge dauber; 3M foam mounting tape.

Woo hoo! Tomorrow is Friday! Saturday is World Card Making Day, too! Does anyone have any plans? As much as I'd love to stamp all day, I think my plans involve taking a couple of little boys to a parade. I'm hoping there will be time to stamp at least a little, too!
