I’m Back …

Darling Damask_Oct 2009

After a busy week, I’m back and with a new respect for people who are busy all the time – working moms with kids at home, kids’ activities – something going on darned near every day and night. Twenty years ago, I might have been able to “keep up.” No more. After a week of “busyness,” I will be delighted to resume my quiet, somewhat boring “grandma” life next week. As for getting “caught up,” that didn’t happen. Oh well.

About my card, it’s all about the color. I love turquoise.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Black, and Ocean cardstock; Black and Ocean ink pads; Renaissance by Design Darling Damask and Close To My Heart Gracious Greetings stamp sets; Black organdy ribbon; Stampin’ Up Build-A-Brad; Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edger punch.

Yup, I’m back. I hope everyone didn’t give up on me during my little hiatus. That said, I’m off to my corner to first clean it up and then mess it up again, so I’ve got something to post tomorrow and beyond … Hope yours is a fun weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

The brad really looks nice with the random stamping you did. This is so beautiful!

I always like your cards and this one is just as special as all the rest. Love how you used the punch. I guess I usually use it facing down so it really struck me.

Gorgeous! I missed you, too. But it's good to take a break and see just how much you are missed, isn't it? LOL

Hope you have wonderful, quiet and productive weekend!
