Two More …

Sympathy Sentiments_2_Nov 2009

Here’s a 10-minute (or less) card made with pretty paper and a sentiment stamp. The border along the bottom is a scrap from the same paper pad. Although I don’t usually add sparkles, I think the three little pink stones I added to this card are OK. As for my photo, I apologize. Black on black doesn’t photograph very well.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy cardstock; DCWV La Creme Matstack; White Daisy Pigment ink pad; Impression Obsession Sympathy Sentiments stamp set; Hero Arts Pale Pink Gemstones.

I love the sentiment on this card, and it is perfect to use with my favorite silhouette stamps. With three new cards added to my sympathy stash, I have to say I hope I’m covered for a long, long time.

Materials & Tools: Colonial White and Desert Sand cardstock; Paper Garden paper packet; Desert Sand and Bamboo ink pads; Close To My Heart Treasure Life and Impression Obsession Sympathy Sentiments stamp sets; Gold mini brads; Stampin’ Up Word Window punch; Piercing tool; Stampin’ Up Piercing Guide and Mat.

Friday tomorrow! Woo hoo! A mess in my corner to clean up tonight! Thanks for stopping by. I hope yours was a wonderful day. Later…

I like both cards but my favorite is the one made with the Paper Garden Pack. We had rain today.

Ohhh I love the black one...BUT I really love the second one. I have that paper pack and have barely used it. The way you did the sentiment is breathtaking. Here's hoping you don't need a sympathy card for a LONG time.

Kathi,
I love them both but the Paper Garden one - with all of those mats, it's just so classy and the flowers make it not so somber (to me). I always have a hard time remembering to not photograph black cards against a black background - so I can relate!!

I'm glad tomorrow is Friday - I'm hoping for some creative time and rest this weekend. Enjoy Friday, dear friend!

Like the others, I too am drawn to the second card over the first. I think the first is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but you created a wonderfully calm, serene and gorgeous card in the second one.

Let's hope you don't need anymore sympathy cards for a long, long time.

Have a wonderful Friday!

My favorite is the floral greenish card. Think that the sentiment is absolutely perfect! Here's to hoping that your three cards will keep you in good supply for a long time to come!
