Tag It Pretty!

Vintage Christmas_Dec 2009

The theme for Stamp Simply #116 on the No Time to Stamp? blog is “Tag It Pretty.” Prior to posting my tags, it was my intention to stamp up some matching wrapping paper. However, with no time to stamp tonight, what you see is what you get.

Close To My Heart’s Vintage Christmas set is one of my all-time favorite stamp sets. Although I don’t consider myself very “artsy,” they lend themselves to the collage look that I love.

Materials & Tools: Colonial White and New England Ivy cardstock; New England Ivy and Bamboo ink pads; Vintage Christmas stamp set; Hero Arts poinsettias; Gold mini brads; Martha Stewart Branch punch; Gold cord from my stash; Sanding block.

Bjorn and Mathias are staying with us tonight. I believe they might have cases of what I call the “Merry Christmas Jitters.” LOL. I attended a Butterfly Boutique with a friend tonight, too. The company is new to me. Nice stuff! I bought a purse (retiring and half price) and a very cool scarf from its current line.

What little is left of the evening is going to be spent “studying” Close To My Heart’s new spring catalog, which arrived in the mail today. I’ve seen enough to know that I’m going to be impressed. We all know what that means. LOL.

I understand that some of you are getting snow and some stormy weather. If it makes you feel any better, it’s too cold to snow in the frozen tundra. It is supposed be get down to 15 below 0 here tonight. That’s 47 degrees below freezing. My little car is not going to be happy tomorrow morning. Regardless of what the calendar says, winter is here. Brrr…

Depending on where you are, stay warm or keep cool. Grin and bear it and make your Tuesday the best it can be. Talk to you again then…

I was "studying" the CTMH catalog yesterday, too. I like it a lot, but I can't limit myself to my budget. LOL! There are some FABULOUS new items in there!

Don't freeze to death! I will send u some snow... how bout that? Snow = warmer than 15 below 0. :)

Good luck tomorrow getting your little car started!

Beautiful card as always!! My CTMH catty came in the mail yesterday too.
Now they are predicting a foot a snow. Yikes. Tell your car to get use to it, could be a cold long winter! :)

Have a great day my friend!!

Lovely tags, Kathi! Thanks for sharing. *Ü*

I hadn't heard of Butterfly Boutique. Sounds intriguing. Will have to check out the link. Glad you found some pretties to add to your wardrobe!

Brrrrrr....it's flipping cold where you are. We are in the single digits here, but above zero so far. This arctic express needs to express on outta here! Hope your little car doesn't balk too badly when you try to start it.

Have fun creating your wish list from the catty!
