… is the Stamp Simply #121 theme as featured today on the No Time to Stamp? blog. I definitely kept it simple, using textured cardstock and my Cuttlebug Postage Stamp die/embossing folder combo. The matted embossed image was mounted on the card with foam tape. A five-minute card!
Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Cranberry, and White Daisy Textured cardstock; Ribbon from Wal-Mart; Cuttlebug w/Postage Stamp Combo.
TGIF! I skipped out of work a couple hours early again today, happy as a clam to come home during daylight hours. Husband and I stopped and bought groceries on the way, so I’m all set to hole up for the entire weekend. Yippee!
How about you? Have you got plans? Whatever you’re doing, I hope you enjoy yourself. While I doubt my Simple Saturday will be more elementary than tonight’s card, I’ll give it a whirl. “See” you then!

:0) Yeah for daylight
Great card!! I just love all of your 'simple' cards. This one is so striking.
Fantastic card, Kathi! I don't think I have ever seen that embossing folder before. Is it a new one? (I'm so out of the loop on new stuff) In any case, your card is awesome!
Enjoy your weekend, my friend. If you can't go outside, have fun playing inside!
love this card as I do all your cards. I guess it is time to start thinking about Springtime and Valentines. Hard to do that when it is so cold.
Clean and simple and beautiful. I love red and white together. Glad you found the daylight hours - sometimes that's all we need is a small boost! Stay warm.
Oh I love it!
Love this. I also haven't seen this embossing folder before. I just heart it and the look it gives your card.
Enjoy your weekend.
