With the card base and background piece already made and laying on my desk, this card took me about five minutes to put together this evening.
The background was created using the baby wipe technique. The colors – Sweet Leaf, Crystal Blue, and Sweet Leaf.
Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Black, and White Glossy cardstock; Black ink pad; Sweet Leaf, Crystal Blue, and Sweet Leaf reinkers; Treasure Life stamp set; Baby wipes.
I woke up with an icky headache this morning, took a couple of aspirin, and went to work. I came home at 1:15. I’ve taken more aspirin, slept for a few hours, and still have the headache. My throat has been a little scratchy for a couple of days, too, so I’m not sure if I’m coming down with something or already have it. As I really want to go to work tomorrow and have stuff I want to get done this weekend, I’m hoping whatever this is short-lived. Besides, I hate talking about feeling crummy. Aches and pains make for poor conversation. Kinda like lousy weather. LOL.
