This card is the result of my urge to color and Card Patterns Sketch 46. The coloring was accomplished with Prismacolor pencils and OMS, and I stamped the background pieces with stamps from Martha Stewart’s Clear Patterns set. It was a fun card to make. The silly bird stamp makes me smile, and I love the bright primary colors.

How was your Monday? A good day I hope. My day was great.
Oh, and before I forget, I’ll tell you about my car, being some of you have asked. Up until today, it was still in the parking lot at work. With no new snow to move, I didn’t think it would make a lot of difference, and I’d joked to Marv that I was going to leave a note on the dash instructing them where to tow it when they did. To make a long story short, I drove it home today. When Marv came to get me, he stopped where it was parked, and it started right away. Evidently, there was some moisture or something in the gas line the day it wouldn’t start. And, like I thought, the gas tank wasn’t empty either. Am I glad? Yes! I have better things to do with my $$ than spend it on boring car repairs. LOL.
As for what I’m doing tonight, I’m going to rest for a while and then maybe wonder over to my corner for a little stamp therapy. Enjoy your evening!!
