Looking Ahead …

So Sweet_2_Feb 2010

You’ll be seeing a couple more cards made with this stamp set and the new Veranda papers in days to come.

This particular card is my take on Card Patterns Sketch 50 … kind of. I had a strip of coordinating paper that I meant to add across the middle. It was laying there … all ready … I assembled the card without it. Sigh. And, I was too lazy for surgery that involved extracting brads.

Materials & Tools: Colonial White, Vanilla Cream, Crème Brule, and Cocoa cardstock; Veranda packet; Cocoa, Crème Brule, and Bamboo ink pads; Garden Green marker; So Sweet stamp set; Antiqued Copper mini brads; Hero Arts pearl accents; Cuttlebug w/Nestabilities Classic Circles and Labels Six sets; Sponge daubers; Sanding block.

The weekend went by all too fast … again. The little boys, their daddy, and Sarah spent the afternoon with us. It was fun. Tonight, I made an attempt to watch the Superbowl, but I fell asleep and missed all but the last five minutes. How that little nap will affect what should be tonight’s big sleep remains to be seen.

Nope, it’s time to jump into my jammies. I hope your Sunday was the start of what will be a wonderful week. Take care, and thanks for stopping by!

What a gorgeous card, Kathi! I love the little butterflies. Isn't that Veranda paper just scrumptious? It's just perfect with your image. TFS!

Wow! So very pretty! Love the colors and those little butterflies. The sentiment is wonderful as well!

LOL at your falling asleep during the game. I was wake, but honestly probably paid more attention to the giraffe I was working on than the game. LOL

Have a wonderful week, my dear friend!

The card is lovely - I didn't miss anything! I love the brads, too. The Veranda papers are yummy and that stamp set is so pretty.

I giggled about you falling asleep during the game - - - but to be fair, it wasn't YOUR team! :-)

Have a wonderful week!
