Starting the Weekend Out Right!

With a fun sketch – my take on Taylored Expressions Challenge Sketch #101. I love sketch challenges and am always a happy camper when I have the chance to participate. This weekend, I hope to get to a few more.

Love You Forever_4_Feb 2010

Aren’t the spring-like colors in Close To My Heart’s Caboodle paper packet fun?

Materials & Tools: Vanilla Cream, Crystal Blue, and Sweet Leaf (textured) cardstock; Caboodle paper packet; Black, Crystal Blue, Chocolate, Brown Bag, Sorbet, Sweet Leaf, Sunflower, Buttercup, and Juniper ink pads; Love You Forever and Togetherness stamp sets; Crystal Blue mini brads; Black My Legacy Writer; Dove blending pen; Fiskars Apron Lace border punch.

Wow! I don’t usually say this, but this past week has really flown by. I don’t suppose I can expect the clock to slow down for the weekend either. Heaven knows, I’ll be slowing down my pace a bit though in a effort to stretch it out just as long as I can.

Do you have plans? I’m going to do the usual domestic stuff, spend some time with the little guys, and prepare for my stamp club group, which meets on Sunday evening. It will be a full, but fun, weekend. Tonight, I’m going to go straighten up my corner a bit. It’s a mess … again.

Thanks for stopping by, and don’t forget to stop back tomorrow for Simple Saturday. Later…

Wonderful card Kathi! I agree about how fast the week went - yikes.

This stamp set is "clearly" one of the most loved in my current stamp collection - i.e. colors of pink and red. LOL It's getting quite a bit of use, in fact, I have an idea bumping around in my head for the little quail . . .

Enjoy your weekend!
Hugs!

How cute! No big plans here except cleaning the house. Husband is having sinus surgery next week and you know people always drop by so I'd like it to look decent! ;)
