Simple Saturday

Take Three_Spring_3_Mar 2010

Today’s Simple Saturday offering was lifted from the gallery at Papertrey Ink. I simply reversed the colors Maile Belles used to create her beautiful card. I used textured cardstock, which makes all the difference for a card so simple.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy and Twilight Textured cardstock; Sweet Leaf and Black ink pads; Papertrey Ink Take Three – Spring stamp set; Corner rounder.

As predicted, I’m busy today. Does anyone remember the television show, “Bewitched?”  Man, I wish I had Samantha’s powers and could make short work of housekeeping. With a twitch of her nose and a nod of her head, that gal could make things happen. Me? I’m just plugging away with everything I’m trying to do taking twice as long as I thought it would. The weekend is going to be short.

On a more positive note, while it’s cloudy here again today (for about the 10th day in a row), it’s much brighter than it has been. The snow continues to melt with the open patches of grass starting to show signs of green. Woo hoo!

Whatever you are doing today, I hope you are healthy and happy. Thank you so much for your visits and sweet comments. They truly warm my heart. Later…

This is so pretty and you are really making me want that set. :)

As for the housekeeping, I sure do wish that I also had Samantha's powers. Unfortunately, I guess it won't do itself.

Lovely card that definitely says Spring to me! Great job, Kathi!

No big plans here, other than the couple of hours spent at Chuck E Cheese yesterday for a birthday party. Man, that place must be rolling in the dough! I just might get a jumpstart on some spring cleaning today. We'll see what the day brings. *Ü*
