My Simple Saturday offering was inspired by a couple of cute cards I spotted here on the Simplicity blog. Newly discovered this morning, Simplicity, I believe, is destined to become a favorite. Man, if I could make simple look that good, I could get rid of about 75 percent of my stuff, and space would no longer be an issue. LOL. I love her style. This will make a great second club card for tomorrow night.
Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Black, and Stampin’ Up Kraft cardstock; Black ink pad; Noted Backgrounds, Flower Pot (April Stamp of the Month), and Thank You stamp sets; Black mini brads.
I so enjoyed my time with Bjorn and Mathias last night and this morning. Mathias and I must have played every game we own – some more than once. Compared to no-nonsense Grandpa, I can be pretty silly sometimes. This morning, the boys “hypnotized” me and giggled with glee as I responded to their commands, some of which were pretty darned crazy. My dad was silly, too, and when they remember him, my boys usually have big grins on their faces. I hope to be remembered like that someday.
What are you up to today? I’ve got a party and stamp club to prepare for and a hundred or so other things to do, which means I’d best get moving. Have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by.

Glad you enjoyed the boys - I can just picture you being hypnotized. How cute! You're such a good Grandma! Have a fun day, dear friend!
I just added Simplicity to Google Reader. Thanks for sharing the link.
Your card is wonderful. It packs quite the punch. *Ü* And I would add, if I were to have made this card, I would send it to you, with heartfelt gratitude!

I love this Kathi and will definitely have to check out that blog. Seems something that I would like.
I'm so glad you had such a good time. You are truly a wonderful grandmother and I have to say that I wish my kids had a grandma like you.
Simple yet it packs a punch. I visited her blog and like you fell in love with it.
Your adventures with your grandsons take me back to when my grandkids were young. I know that I am going to miss being closer (in miles to my great grandkids). Maybe Sam and Samantha will choose to remain in Mich once Sam is done with college and they are married.
Love your card!! I checked out her blog and bookmarked it, love that text stamp background.
So glad you had a great time with your grandsons!
