Almost Tuesday

Asian Flair_Sept 2010

I was in the mood for a Pure Innocence image tonight and realized I had a digital image in my file that had yet to see ink.  As for my card, it started with a sketch, but then I had to drop a layer because of the way I sized by image. That’s OK. I like it anyway. I paper-pierced the dress and colored the rest of the image with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. I added two silver Bitty Brads as  buttons on her shoes and mounted the image to the card using foam tape.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy and Black cardstock; Basic Grey Olivia 6x6-inch paper pad; Black and Twilight ink pads; Pure Innocence digital image; Verve Stamps Asian Flair; Silver Bitty Brads; Button from my stash; Ribbon from Wal-Mart; Prismacolor colored pencils; Gamsol odorless mineral spirits; Blending stumps; Dove blending pen; 3M foam mounting tape.

A Slice of Life: Another Monday is out of the way. I was busy at work, doing priority projects as they came my way and in between, trying to chip away at the other stuff. Tonight, I went to visit Mom and ran a couple of errands. And now, I am off to bed in anticipation of another busy day. Have a great Tuesday, friends! Later …

Have a wonderful day today my sweet friend. Oh and FYI...some of the flowers in that arrangement are still going pretty strong! WoW!
