The Autumn Splendor cards I've been posting were all created from one 8-1/2 by 11-inch sheet of random stamped paper. To create the sponged background, I chose three ink colors - Sunflower, Goldrush and Autumn Terracotta. Using a round sponge and starting with the lightest color (Sunflower), I randomly "scrubbed" ink into the paper, moving my hand in a circular motion. Next, I repeated the process with Goldrush and then Autumn Terracotta. Once I had what I thought was enough Autumn Terracotta ink on the paper, I went back over it, first with Sunflower and then Goldrush. When I was happy with the result, I random stamped it with leaves and acorns.
