Five minute cards are OK if I've only got five minutes, but when I've got more time, I like to put a little bit more effort into my cards. The results are still simpler than many of the fancy cards I see every day in the blogosphere, but as I've said before, simple is my signature style.
This card was made using the sketch from last night. The patterned paper is from Free Spirit. The cardstock is Indian Corn Blue. The stamps are from Legendary Moments and the flowers from the Just Blooms Autumn Sunflower collection. I sanded the blue cardstock and edges of the patterned paper and finished with Pewter brad, paper-pierced edges, and the sentiment stamped on a piece of blue cardstock cut using the SU Word Window punch.
With a card under my belt, I need to tackle today's rather long "to do" list that includes laundry, cleaning, shopping, phone calls, and last, but not least, preparing for my stamp club meeting tomorrow evening. I also have a couple of special cards to make. Four years ago tomorrow, our precious Bjorn was born on his mommy's birthday. Even though so much has happened and I feel like I have loved this child forever, it doesn't seem like he should be four already.

Wow, Happy Birthday to Bjorn! And your daughter!
I love this card. But then, I pretty much love whatever you create, Kathi! I have to admit to not being completely keen on the stamp set, but as time has gone on and I've seen more artwork done with it, I'm glad I have it in my stash. This card says STAMPLIFT all over it to me!
Have a great day!
I, too, love this card. I've been longing to purchase Legendary Moments, but haven't had the opportunity. This card just strengthens my longing. Thanks for the inspiration!!
Love, Love, Love this card! Oh, and did I say I LOVE this card! Great work!
These are both beautiful Kathi!! I love the layouts
