Answering a Couple of Questions

To answer a couple of questions about the Emerging Color technique, I used regular (not glossy) cardstock, white for this particular card. I've used Colonial White in the past for an autumn card with leaf images. Light pastels would probably work, too. Just remember that your embossed image will be whatever color your base color is. Does that make sense? I hope so. There is a reason why I don't write directions very often . . .

Kathi's Corner has had a lot of company lately. Some of you have left some very nice comments, and I received a few of encouraging emails recently. The first was from a friend who lives three or four blocks away, close enough to share the Nestabilities she just ordered!! I'm so-o-o jealous, Connie! I'm kidding. I really love what they do and am anxious to see how they work with the Cuttlebug. The second of today's email messages was from a gal in Missouri who found my blog via a link to Monochromatic Magic on the Papercrafts message board. Last night, I received a note from Lisa S., who has provided me with more than a little inspiration and been mentioned on my blog a couple of times. She asked if she could add me to her favorites on her new blog. She also thanked me for inspiring her which blew me away. When it comes to innovative ways of using CTMH products that girl dances circles around this old lady. Go see for yourself on Lisa's Creative Corner. I need to take the time to add my favorites or at the very least, the best of the best and blogs I think you would enjoy, too.

That's enough jabber and procrastination for now. My scrapping mess continues to surround me . . . Have a good week!

Wow! Thanks so much Kathi for all of your kind words. I am blushing! *Ü*

(I would have posted sooner but was up half of the night last night prepping for a workshop today.)

Thanks again for everything you said about me and my work. I am truly humbled by your amazing artwork and am thrilled that some of my stuff inspires you too.

Hugs,
Lisa
