Rose Parade

If I don't put it away soon, you're going to start to think I'm really stuck on this rose from the Cherish stamp set. It is a nice stamp, appropriate for birthday, wedding, thinking of you, sympathy, get well, and last, but not least, Valentine's Day cards. For a reason I can't determine at the moment, I don't love this card, but as I've said before, you can't love 'em all. I think at least part of my problem is the color. I'm not a big fan of Orchid Bouquet. The base card is Colonial White, which photographs whiter than it is. The other cardstock colors are Olive and Bamboo. The patterned paper is from the Floral Tapestry paper packet.
Tomorrow is Wednesday, although it's going to feel like Monday again. A couple more work days, and it will be the weekend again. As much as I don't really want to, I think I need to work for five consecutive days to get my bearings straight again. I can't remember a year when the holidays have thrown my internal clock off like they did this year. Enough said. I'm going to bed. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good rest of the week. I'll go file that rose away and see if I can't come up with something different tomorrow.
