A Couple More New Cuttlebug Folders

Liking the "painted" Birds & Swirls embossed piece so much, I decided try coloring the embossed image created with new Floral Fantasy embossing folder, too. This one was a little more time consuming, partially because there were more color choices to make. I really like the soft pastels on the Colonial White background, and you'll note I kept the sentiment small as not to cover up too much of the design.

To bring out the detail of the design of the Perfectly Paisley folder, I sanded my white-core cardstock. I kept this card simple, too. While "Yeehah" isn't a word that I use on a regular basis, and the cowgirl isn't my favorite stamp in the Stick People Collection stamp set, I have a rodeo fan girlfriend who will get a kick out of the card.

I made these cards when I should have been sleeping in the wee hours of this morning, which is why I feel like I've been run over by a truck tonight. I need to gather up enough gumption to see if I can't put a few Nugget boxes together for tomorrow. My concern is that my Nugget supply is seriously diminished, which, if it is, will be totally disgusting. I had seven bags of these things on hand a couple of weeks ago. If I wake up one morning and my backside is seriously wider than it was the day before, it will only be because I deserve it. Better get to it . . . Stop back tomorrow night for the It's All About Love Countdown finale and tribute to a special friend who who, during her lifetime, taught me and my family a lot about love.
