On Task . . . Sorta . . .

What fun stamps and papers these are! There isn't a single stamp in these sets or pattern in the Silhouette paper packet that I don't adore. My cards are samples for my stamp club tomorrow evening . . . if I hold my meeting, that is. The way I'm feeling right now, I might just be postponing it for a week. It appears that Grandma woke up with Bjorn and Mathias' colds, and I'm feeling more and more miserable as the day progresses.

Back to my cards, I'll just mention a couple of details that don't show in the photo. The right-most flower on the three-flower card is mounted with foam mounting tape, as is the clock on the card to your right. The clock face, too, has a piece of transparency on it held in place by a black mini brad. Coluzzle circle templates work great for the clock, too. I was most happy to see that, as I'm not great when it comes to cutting the perfect circle.

Materials & Tools: Colonial White, Black, Bamboo, and Desert Sand cardstock; Silhouette paper packet; Black and Bamboo ink pads; Make It Count, Joy Forever, and For Every Occasion stamp sets; Black buttons; Heritage Edge Anchors; Black mini brad; Transparency; Coluzzle mat, knife, and circle templates; 3M mounting tape; Ribbon from Michael's.

My preparations for my club meeting were sidetracked a bit by the mailman this afternoon with the delivery of the Eggs-tra Special stamp set I ordered a few days ago from My Favorite Things. I think this is one of the cutest Easter sets I've seen in a while. Of course, adding to the temptation were the many awesome cards and projects I've seen made with this set on other blogs. Due to time constraints, I'm limiting myself to one quick card today. Look for more with this set in the weeks leading up to Easter.

Material & Tools: White Daisy, Amethyst, Baby Pink, and Key Lime cardstock; Sweet Pea paper packet; Black, Topiary, and Twilight ink pads; Baby Pink and Topiary markers; My Favorite Things Eggs-tra Special and Stampendous Holiday Words stamp sets; Dove blending pen; My Legacy Writer; Cricut w/Mini Monograms cartridge.

With this post, I'm going to go see if I have something to take for my plugged up head and then lay down for a while. As much as I'll like to whine, I'm not going to. There's so much stuff going around right now, and it's just my turn . . .
