About Those Baubles

I received an email today from a gal asking if I was familiar with an online source for the little acrylic discs that are all the rage right now. Her shopping situation sounds similar to mine, and like me, she realizes that compared to the cost of gas, shipping fees aren't so bad. Anyway, I found three sources. Ellen Hutson and Kitchen Sink Stamps have Dew Drops. I also found Bella's Baubles on the Stamping Bella site. Additionally, I came across Julie Cameron's Paper Hearts Card Co. blog. She found them at a Dollarama store in Canada. From that I deduce that one might find them in other dollar stores as well. I hope this bit of information helps someone. As for me, when my supply runs low, I really want to go to Denver to get some more 'cuz I really want to have lunch with Jeanne!

Maybe I can spell right this time!

Michaels-2 bucks a bag. comes in several colors but I got clear so I could color with my copic markers. you get at least 500 to a bag. they are in the floral department where special metal pots and seasonal butt up. before the art department. marketed as floral candle or water fountain filler. called decorative accents and are on a side end cap in every store I go in. no one has found them anywhere else but Michaels. the others you find are from Robins nest and made specific for card making etc. and you get like 50 for 5 bucks. go to michaels.

LOL, lovin' the lunch idea, Kathi! I came here to post where in Michaels to find them and I see it's already been described.

For those of us who don't own Copics, do you know of another way to color them? Would Sharpies work? hmmmmmmm.....

Just got back from a trip to Michaels and got 4 bags of the baubles. They are as Jan said in the floral/candle/seasonal dept. I got them for $3 (CDN) a bag and in lilac, lime, rose and blue. It looks like there are clear ones in the bags as well. I have baubles up the yingyang now....lol.
