Drained

My card for today is plain . . . not simple, but plain and ordinary. It was made by a 54-year-old who feels like she's 104 - one who stayed up way too late and got up way too early. In other words, I'm beat. My card is not bad . . . just plain, because creativity requires a certain amount of energy. So does operating a keyboard.

Tools & Materials: White Daisy, Pansy Purple, and Bamboo cardstock; Pansy Purple, Petal, and Topiary ink pads; Thoughts of You stamp set; My Legacy Writer; Cuttlebug w/Swiss Dots embossing folder.

While going to bed now would be asking for trouble, I am going to go put on my pajamas, grab a magazine, and see if I can't remain in an upright position until at least 9:30. Then I'm going to sleep for a full eight hours or so and get up and feel good about all that I accomplished today. Thanks for stopping. I'll be back tomorrow with something I promise will be more interesting!

Umm, yeah. On your tired days, your creativity still shines.

I have to ditto what Maricar said! On my tired days I don't even ATTEMPT to create anything.

Hope you enjoyed your magazine (Papercrafts, perhaps...I got mine yesterday) had a good night's sleep.
