One of a Kind

Here's another Blooming with Love card. I'm thinking this stamp set is pretty versatile, because every time I think I'm going to put it away and do something else, I come up with another idea. As the stamps are wood-mounted and my stamp positioner (that I never liked anyway) is long gone, getting the pots lined up was a bit of a challenge. As for the sentiment, it was done with an itty-bitty alphabet set that's part of the Impression Obsession Sentiments I Add-ons set. As I almost always do with alphabet stamps, I stamped the letters one by one, and acrylic or not, I was thankful that this particular font is one that doesn't need to be perfectly straight or evenly spaced. I had all I could do just to see the little buggers.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Garden Green, and Cranberry cardstock; Lets Get Together paper packet; Black, Autumn Terracotta, Garden Green, Sunflower, Cranberry, Grey Wool, and Twilight ink pads; Stampin' up Blooming with Love and Impression Obsessions Sentiments I Add-ons stamp sets; Dove blending pen; White Uni-ball Signo pen; Buttercup My Accents; Stampin' Up Word Window punch; Corner rounder.

At least I was able to eke a couple of cards out this weekend. I talked to my mom on the phone this evening and told her I've thrown more paper in the last few days than I have in the past year. I've had several great ideas that haven't panned out so well. Oh well . . . mojo comes and mojo goes. I'll be back in the groove soon. For now, my bed is calling my name. Thanks for stopping, and have a great week!

I love this card! You are a master at blending and shading. Your artwork is lovely. Think I'm going to lift this one! :-) TFS.

I'm SO impressed! I kept looking and looking at this card saying, did she shade there? Yep, did she make what looks like a shelf line? Yep! Oh to have such talent!

Just wonderful! Thanks for sharing! I'm going to have to pull out my Dove Blender and see what I can do with it....
