Another Fun Sketch

When I saw this sketch on Jen Del Muro's I {heart} to Stamp blog last week, I knew it was one I wanted to try.
Here's my interpretation. I used the same papers and colors I used for my card last night, not because they were still out on my desk but because I felt they were the best choice.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy cardstock (for base); Textured White Daisy, Sweet Leaf, and Twilight cardstock; K&Company Amy Butler Designer Mat Pad; Chocolate, Twilight, and Garden Green ink pads; Impression Obsession For the Birds stamp set; Stampin' Up Whisper White taffeta ribbon; 3M foam mounting tape.

Spring is most welcome, and with temperatures in the 60s, it would feel like spring were we not experiencing gale-force winds as well. It was hard not to have a bad hair day today. From the looks of the forecast, wind will accompany the pleasant and welcome warmth all week. I'll use a little extra hairspray and grin and bear it. The recollection of snow just a few days ago is just too fresh to complain . . . much anyway!

I'm very tired tonight, and I don't know why, as I turned in early last night. The last couple of days at work have been busy and fun, as I've worked with a team on a couple of projects that required a lot of creativity. I gave it my all, and perhaps, that's why I'm all tuckered out. Thanks for stopping by. I'll catch you again tomorrow.

The colors in this are so serene, very well done!

We had temps in the 80s yesterday with lots of wind...and today well, they are saying we are to get snow, of course, and only in the 40s. Sheesh! Talk about a tease...

Hope you get your energy back!
