A Favorite Color Combination

I don't remember when I first pulled this color combination out of Close To My Heart's Color Combination Guide, but I loved it and still do. It's the perfect bright combination for whimsical stamp sets such as With Love. This Stamp of the Month set (for June) is one that you will be seeing a lot of in coming weeks. For me, it was one of those "love at first sight" sets, and showing you what can be done with it is going to be fun.

Materials & Tools: White Daisy, Dutch Blue, Holiday Red, Topiary, and Sunflower cardstock and ink pads; With Love June SOTM stamp set; Sunflower Bigger Brad; Sanding block.

It's only 7 p.m., and I feel like it's 11. I guess fresh air has the same effect on grandmas as it does little boys. I think I'll lay down for a little while and see what happens. Hopefully, I'll get a second wind. Later!

Oh I love this one Kathi....
I have a question for you? I don't know if I have asked this before but what do you do with all the cards you create?

This is a great card! I like the images from this set...I think it'd have been one I "had to have." That color combo is very nice. I had to read to figure out the red though...looks almost coral to me-computer monitors are so goofy sometimes.

Great work!

Love the colors! I am so in love with this stamp set, but I've been stuck in the bright pinks/ocean color scheme. I like the red. I was going to steal your color combo, but I guess I'll have to wait because those colors are all packed up--how sad.

I knew you wouldn't let me down. I am in a swap and I have to make ten "I LOVE YOU" themed cards. I cut up silhouette paper and couldn't make anything I'd be ok with sending out in a swap. Threw all the precut paper into Bekah's arts bin. Ugh. Then I cut up some other paper. Again, nothing. So - I thought I'd enter blog-sphere for inspiration ... So, having seen your design here, let me see if I can be inspired to use the June SOTM. We shall see. (Wow, that was a lot of rambling to say THANKS FOR THE INSPIRATION!)
